92-Points by Wine Enthusiast.
A blend of numerous clones from Donnelly Creek, Savoy and Wiley vineyards. Aged 10 months in 44% new French oak barrels. Vivid red. High-pitched aromas of wild strawberry and raspberry, with suave floral and spicecake nuances and a hint of anise. Sappy and expansive on the palate, offering red berry flavors and a deeper note of blackberry on the back half. Gains a spicy character with aeration and finishes with excellent clarity and cut.
- Food & Wine magazine named Breggo the Best New Winery in 2008. Wine critic Robert Parker claimed Breggo’s 2006 pinot gris was “the finest ever in the New World.”
