96-Points by Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy):
One of the darker and more concentrated colours. Impressive density too on the nose. This has moved across to the raspberry side, impeccable density, with refreshing minerals to finish. Picked ripe but at the right time. Serious crop thinning here has paid off.
Intense ruby red colour and an attractive nose offering fresh red fruits, sweet spice, oaky notes and a touch of smoke. The palate is smooth and persistent with fruity, oaky notes that linger on the finish. A remarkably elegant wine with silky smooth tannins and a very distinctive finish.

Touch of musk, animal in nose that is typical of Cazetiers. Dense, but light on palate, dark fruits, very Cazetiers. Grand cru quality here.
95- Points by William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers is a beauty, bursting with notes of cherries, raspberries, rose petals and incense. Medium to full-bodied, pure and polished, with an ample core of fruit, lively acids and a saline finish, it's especially perfumed and sensual this year.
- Les Cazetiers is situated right alongside Clos St Jacques on the Combe de Lavaux. Its easterly exposure combined with cool, elevated position make for outstanding freshness in the wines.
Founded in 1825, Bourgognes Faiveley has been handed down from father to son for over 175 years. As the sixth generation to take the reins, François Faiveley manages, with equal amounts passion and competence, the largest family domaine in Burgundy. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws, Bourgognes Faiveley today owns more appellations in their entirety (monopoles) than any other domaine in Burgundy.
"Faiveley’s wines are... supremely clean and elegant: definitive examples of Pinot Noir... above all they have richness and breed, the thumbprint of a master winemaker."
