The nose hints of earthiness reminiscent of a fine Burgundy. Bright aromas of fresh cranberry, red raspberry and strawberry mixed with spice notes of white pepper and earthen floor. On the palate, it leads with red fruits like pomegranate and fresh cranberry, with hints of raspberry.

The finish is long and rich.

  • Halleck Vineyard is a premium Pinot Noir producer of Sonoma County, California. Vines were first planted by Jennifer and Ross Halleck in 1993 with the inaugural vintage of Halleck Vineyard released in 1999.
  • The one-acre Halleck vineyard sits at 900 feet of elevation, reportedly one of the highest vineyards in the county. Despite this elevation, persistent coastal fog still envelopes the site in the second half of the growing season, keeping temperatures cool and allowing grapes to mature slowly.
  • Today, the portfolio of wines has expanded; Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc are produced from several different sites in the Sebastopol area.
