This TERRE ROUGE white dessert wine is inspired by the delicious, fresh, fortified Muscats of the Southern Rhône like Muscat-de-Beaumes-de-Venise, 100% Muscat from Shenandoah Valley in the Sierra Foothills. This was fortified with their own Muscat brandy to arrest fermentation. Flowers and honey on the nose, then a complex palate of stone fruits, honey, mint, licorice, and a lemony zing. Lighter-bodied than you think. A lovely way to end a meal.
